A Late Case of the Tism Zine
£10.00

Vicky Isabella was diagnosed with autism at the ripe auld age of 37, and she has a lot of thoughts about it! This zine is packed with her musings including why so many of us slip through the neurodivergent 'catching net', the long term effects of masking, the clues that led her to seek diagnosis and ultimately the magic that being autistic brings to her life. It is brutal, honest and hopeful - with excerpts from her personal journals over the years, many an illustration and more than one reference to Mrs Doubtfire…
We need more AFAB voices sharing their experiences to raise awareness of the complexity of neurodiversity so that the medical model changes and less women are left to swim alone. This wee zine is Vicky's first step in sharing a little of her story and hopefully igniting a few 'lightbulb' moments for others who may be struggling to find their lane. 🌈
